Jog on Mate! What does that phrase mean? Well you won’t want to search for your answer on the internet because you will find some very off-color answers to your query. You also will not want to ask anyone from England , or a close follower of futbol, or anyone familiar with British vernacular humor. However, since we are American and I’m sure the majority of you reading this will not be offended by the usage of the phrase I will continue to use it.
Now what does any of the above have to do with anything? Well…nothing. I just wanted to let everyone know that that phrase will probably appear often on this page and I will use it many different forms; Encouragement, discouragement, bewilderment, and simply as a filler.
Now I enter this venture very skeptical. I do not consider myself a writer or even a well-spoken individual. I do however enjoy reading and consider myself to be a somewhat entertaining individual (I’ll keep an eye on the amount of followers I accrue in order to determine the validity of the last statement). The purpose of this page is going to be to share my stories. I feel I have been blessed with a life that has provided many opportunities and events that are worthy to be shared.
I will most likely spend the vast majority of my time talking about my running experiences with healthy mix of humor, love, and of course my opinion on whatever I feel like talking about…but mostly running. Now, since I am behind the times on this whole thing I will spend a good deal of time writing about some of my past experience, especially because I am currently training for a race that is 2 months away and no one really wants to hear about my 7 mile slog through the snow…that is unless something eventful happens to cross my path, in which case I will surely share.
